Have you ever met someone who had a smile that was infectious? When you were in their presence, their happiness and attitude was so pleasant and positive that you were instantly were in a better mood. Rosario is one of those special people. She has been with us for less than a year but feels like she has been apart of the Immortal family forever. Please take a minute to read about this wonderful lady!

Occupation: I have been teaching kindergarten for over 12 years at the Tarrytown School District.

How long have you been doing CrossFit and what motivated you to try it out?
I’ve been in CrossFit since the beginning of May 2017. I joined CrossFit to become the best version of myself physically and mentally.

If you were stuck in a room with no exercise equipment and wanted to get a workout in, what would be your workout?
WARMUP: 20 jumping jacks, 15 air squats (repeat 3 times)
METCON: Four rounds for time
20 Burpees, 15 Air Squats, 12 push ups. After that I would do three rounds of 25 sit ups.

What has been the best memory so far at Immortal?
My best memory so far at Immortal, is the first impression of seeing a true team in front of me who never made me feel intimidated. I came to CrossFit with absolutely no experience on real workouts. Because of the great support from all my coaches, and my team, I felt no fear of registering for the In-house Competition at the end of May. I had no idea what it was going to be…LOL. I DID IT!!

What is your one go-to, all time favorite cheat meal?

I am a Salsa on2 dancer.

What goal are you currently pursuing (it doesn’t have to be fitness related)?:
My goal is to keep on improving my physical and mental health while being the best mother, sister and friend I can be.
